I'd carry it over to my digital camera to take pictures of it to put on Ebay. I have no interest in that type of knife.

I double dog dare you! And wear it attached to your Jackass shoulder rig!
Link Posted: 9/29/2005 7:17:00 PM EDT
No way, but I'd sell it to a sucker who would buy me the majority of a new RRA.
Link Posted: 9/29/2005 7:17:15 PM EDT
I'll take it if you duracoat it first.

If it's not tactical looking then it can't cut.

Hell No!

Opal is way too soft for fittings.

Ok, ok, I'll take one! Quit begging! You need my address?
Link Posted: 9/29/2005 7:24:50 PM EDT
I try to never spend more that $40 on a pocket knife...it's just to loseable. If I won the lotto and was getting in to knife collecting I wouldn't even go for that. I'd probably go for original issue combat/field knives.

Any spoons or scissors (rusty)?
Link Posted: 9/29/2005 7:37:11 PM EDT
Or for the same price you can buy 7 benchmades or 10 spydercos
Link Posted: 9/29/2005 7:39:07 PM EDT
What would be worth cutting with something that expensive?
Link Posted: 9/29/2005 7:39:35 PM EDT
Dude between that knife and the Mauve Quad.. you are seriously taste-impaired.
Link Posted: 9/29/2005 7:39:39 PM EDT
paying more then 100$ for a pocket knife is retarded..

Link Posted: 9/29/2005 7:49:32 PM EDT
Why?

I won't carry any knife that doesn't have some means of preventing my fingers frop slipping onto the blade. A crossguard, or an index-finger groove at the least. That thing's just asking for trouble when it gets jabbed into something.

You ever see that David Blane nonsense on TV? He's got a 1 hour show that airs from time to time where does a bunch of mundane tricks. One thing I noticed that nobody else does is when he slices up his fingers. He's doing a trick where he picks a playing card someone guessed by stabbing it on a table covered in cards. So he picks up a steak knife from the resturaunt he's doing the trick in and right away I think "He's going to slip down that thing and cut his fingers." Sure enough, he cuts DEEPLY into his pinky and ring finger. He covers it by snapping his wrist when he lets go like it's part of the trick, but you can see him flinch and grimace. Later when they show the cards, there are drops of blood on them. Idiot.

Why the hell did I take the time to write that? Oh well, I don't screw with knives that don't protect my fingers. I wouldn't use that thing for anything other than cutting paper on a flat surface.

Nope, too girly.

I wish they'd legalize carrying automatics.

No way. You can go to a kitchen supply store and get a knife with higher-quality steel and superior ergonomics. Commerical kitchen knives have to survive: drops, corrosion, heat, constant use, etc...; and be easy to handle for hours on end.

He's got a real pretty mouth knife on him, don't he?

....its a wallhanger, not a daily carrier, unless you have a whole lot of spare money.

Looks like your hand would go right up the blade if you ever stuck something with it.
