A woman suing the TSA for an invasive pat-down at the Albuquerque Sunport speaks only with KOB Eyewitness News 4. Adrienne Durso of Carlsbad, California spoke over the phone - she describes her experience during a TSA pat-down at the Sunport back in August. "Heavily concentrating on my breast area where I told her I had a mastectomy the year previous and in just seemed to go on and on," said Durso. She says she felt humiliated as the extensive pat-down happened in front of her 17 year old son and hundreds of other travelers. "I felt as though I didn't have any rights other than I had to stand there and let them do what they want to do to my body," Durso continued. She says she knew her rights had been violated so she asked to speak to a supervisor who she thought would help. All the while her son stood by her side and couldn't remain silent anymore |

These assholes are going to breed the next generation of domestic terrorists in the name of fighting terrorism. Eventually some otherwise law abiding and upstanding citizen is going to "go postal" (for lack of a better term) on an airport security checkpoint.
Fucking morons. |
|
Too many people just let it go. They fire off an angry letter or email and never follow-up or take it to the next level. I do not feel sorry for someone who has been harassed, who doesn't do everything they can to put a stop to this shit. If it were me, I'd phone my senator's office and request an in-face meeting every damn week until his lazy, corrupt ass started working.

big deal she got a pat down wtf is she suing for? Exactly. Rape is a bit like the rain, if it's inevitable, might as well relax and enjoy it. |

At seventeen I was still enough of a hothead that I would probably would have put the government thug in the hospital and myself in court.

Gate raped.
Again. These arrogant fucks aren't making us any safer. Mohammed and Habib are the enemy. |

I still dont get it a tsa chick pats a soccer mom down? so now she needs millions?
I doubt the girl giving the pat down was thrilled either. |
|
And the lookers on don't say a word. They just pretend it isn't happening.
|
|
Maybe when I fly this Saturday, if TSA Gives me or the Wife trouble, I'll just accuse them of being Domestic Terrorists. Tell them I took an oath to defend my country from all enemies, Foreign and Domestic. Bet that will turn out wonderful...
Be funny as hell to do though, especially with the already riled up holiday crowd. |

Doesn't sound like the whole story is there.
But I'll throw in a wild guess anyway... They probably had a female officer assigned to do random pat downs and she got randomly selected. She gets pat down and gets mouthy. Son gets mouthy also and makes the why didn't I get pat down comment. Supervisor probably sick of being yelled at by people who voluntarily enter a screening checkpoint and then throw a fit when they get searched snapped with sarcastic comment. "Because you don't have boobs" probably means the screener was female so can only pat down females. Again all a wild ass guess, but it fits. |

Give a $10 an hour 80 IQ moron a badge and a govenment agency to back him up, and what do you expect?

Doing their fucking job? When I was doing a lot of travel overseas I got patted down all the time, no one was raising holy hell about it and acting like a little bitch over a pat down. |

Seems like AZ's TSA needs to get their shit together... breast milk and mastectomies?
Stacey Armato and her video. With such a hot button issue as the screening has become, the TSA really needs to square themselves away. There's no room for unprofessionalism anywhere. |

No, for abusing their powers. How about you go and read up on what an administrative search is, then get back to me. And until you do, I'm just not going to respond to you. |

Stop flying, start emailing/calling/educating.
Don't accept this a the new normal - its completely fucked up. |
|
The only things worse than the TSA fondling innocent Americans in order to provide the illusion of security in direct contravention to the 1st, 2nd and 4th Amendments are the sycophants who will go out of their way to defend the indefensible actions of the TSA personnel and supervisors.
You want to lick the boot that kicks you? Fine. I'm not going to do that. |

Dumbass deserved it. She knew what could happen before she even go into line. Just like every other person who flies from here on out. Drive or stay at home and this shit won't happen.
The only answer is to replace our government with one that works for us. |

She's another breast cancer survivor - not the type who enjoys having her scars pressed and prodded. How would you like to tell the TSA guy that "actually Mom only has one boob".
Wake the fuck up people. |

The "on someone else's property" (which happens to be incorrect in most places, unless you think city property is "someone else's property") is only meaningful insofar as the rights of the property owner. Is it lost on you that this isn't United Airlines doing this or the Los Angeles Airport Commision but the Federal Government. The 4th Amendment is suppose to protect the citizen from the Federal Government. "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." |

I think some people fail to realize that this lady was not pat down, she was felt up , TSA agent's own words bear out the intent.
Play peekaboo with the truth all you like- this whole pat down scheme is a gigantic exercise in stupidity. The demographics on who has attacked us here could NOT be clearer, and yet we're patting down children? "They're just doing their job" ... sound a lot like, "they were only following orders". "Only following orders" is how many of those communist and facist dictators were able to get away with the crap they did. |

Don't you have the option to ask to go back into a private room for the pat down?
