Appparently Berkeley's having a hard time finding people willing to give commencement speeches because the school is perceived as "anti-American" [shock] and because jackasses always demonstrate against and heckle the speakers.

I think this is great! The more liberals commit stupid blunders like this, the more they show the rest of the country how faulty their logic really is.
I seem to recall an old saying about giving someone enough rope and they will hang themselves. This is what I see happening here. |

The only problem with that is that most people have been so brainwashed by socialistic bullshit, neoconservatism (modern "conservatives" who are anything but, like Bush), and the media that they view this kind of shit as "kids being kids" or even worse, kids standing up for people who are downtrodden. |

The English R1A reading and comprehension course, titled "The Politics and Poetics of Palestinian Resistance," states in its course description that "conservative thinkers are encouraged to seek other sections" -- a violation of the university's Faculty Code of Conduct. In other words: Those who have a brain in their head and might present factual information that will make all of the sensitive leftists feel stupid are encouraged not to terrorize their fellow students with facts. |
