Hee hee not that kind, but with all the gas prices going up I went to Wal-Mart and bought 5 6 Gallon gas cans and im going to keep them on reserve(filled ofcourse) and I also put some of that STA-BIL in for the long term. Anyone else here store gas or any other items like that for  your vehicles in case if things get real bad? I also carry in my SUV a complete NBC suite and mask.

I did for Y2K, but not since.  It is fun stocking up on supplies waiting for SHTF situations, I love being prepared.[:D]

I remember in the early 1970's the gas shortage and my father filling the gas tank of his broken down Pinto that just sat in the garage.  He thought he'd save it "just in case."  Well, a few weeks later he found the Pinto's gas tank had rusted out and the 12 or so gallons of gas he tried to save had leaked out (and luckily for us) just evaporated.

I keep about 2500gal. of No 2. on hand, but have never really thought about it for SHTF situations.  Buying at bulk prices (farm use-no tax) really saves though.
