Virginia concealed carry permit holders have been harassed by Universities over the issue of carrying a firearm on the campus. Universities DO NOT have the authority under Virginia law to do this, but that has not stopped them. Virginia Tech, for instance, has decided to ignore the law and continues to ban legal concealed carry by students who have permits (most of whom are older adults taking classes to enhance their marketable skills) from exercising their second ammendment rights on campus.

In response to this, a legislator has proposed VCDL endorsed legislation to clarify the law on the matter and to force universities to stop violating the legal rights of their students by making them unarmed victims.

As usual...piss poor question. All it asks is whether or not we support the lefislation to permit us to carry on campus.

It should be written thus:

"Do you believe that Virginia citizens who have a legal permit to carry a concealed firearm, should be permitted to so carry while on campus?"

I guess it says pretty much the same...but I loath polls and the shiity questions these Bozos use to skew the answers.
