Every so often I get a hair growing out of my face that is like a tree stump. Upon closer inspection it is many hairs joined together out of the same follicle. Sometimes 10 or more hairs. Anyone else have this?

This thread is A-OK without pics +1, pics are not necessary. ETA: to answer the OP's question, yes. ETA #2: WTF? I didn't read it all the way, No, never on my face, and only ever two out of one follicle. |
|
I get this occasionally on my chest, but it's more like 2-3 hairs from one follicle.
|
|
No, and I suggest you try a Guillotine. that should solve your problem.

Yes. I pull it out with the tweezers, and my wife and I examine it.

I heard a rumor that if you get cum on your chin, this kind of stuff happens.

Quoted: Congenital Generalized Hypertrichosis Wrong. Multiple hairs per follicle is not THAT. THAT is abnormally long hair growth given the area involved. I have some multiple hair follicles on my chest. Not a lot, but a few here and there. I have plenty of chest hair but only a few follicles grow double hairs. CJ |

If this thread doesn't deserve the "Cool Story Bro!" then I don't know what does.

It happens to me all the time, seems to come in waves actually. I'll go weeks w/o any and then all of a sudden I'll find several in my beard. I pull the bitches out with tweezers and inspect. It's wild to see SOOO many hairs growing out of one folicial.
ETA: Pili multigemini is a rare malformation characterized by the presence of bifurcated or multiple divided hair matrices and papillae, giving rise to the formation of multiple hair shafts within the individual follicles Weirdness |

I'm 40 now but when I was younger I got them a lot more often. Record was 14 hairs out of one.

I get the same thing, in waves. I pulled 3 separate ones the other night.

I used to get them. Pulled them out with tweezers or pliers, depending on how stubborn they were, and they eventually stopped coming back. Normally 3-4 hairs, but a couple of times there were 6 or more.
I haven't had any in about 10 years, now. I'm 44. |

Only in arfcom GD would I find such a strange and bizarre thread...
