They can have mine.

<BR>

Bullets first.

Damn socialists.

For the longest time, I had Amnesty International stickers on my ARs

I'm on some mailing list somewhere (probably from joining the ACLU ) so Amnesty International sends me stickers every year.

Assholes. I hate them almost as much as I hate Greenpeace.

AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL WANTS YOUR AR-15s

Well.................

<BR>

Come and get them.
Link Posted: 3/12/2005 3:28:08 PM EDT

"You can't control international arms proliferation, especially small arms proliferation, without international cooperation," said Brian Wood, Amnesty International's arms and security trade research manager. "We want tough action."

Amnesty F'in what?

Come get your "tough action".

Bite me.
Link Posted: 3/12/2005 3:29:22 PM EDT
um Molon Labe?
Link Posted: 3/12/2005 3:29:24 PM EDT
Sure they can have them and they can come over and get them. Just let me empty the magazines first
Link Posted: 3/12/2005 3:30:37 PM EDT

The activists noted there were an estimated 650 million guns in circulation around the world -- almost all in the hands of men.

"Given that they are almost never the buyers, owners or users of small arms, (women) suffer disproportionately from armed violence," said Denise Searle of Amnesty International, one of the groups releasing the report.

So those who go unarmed suffer the most violence. Therefore we should make sure everyone is unarmed.

Sounds to me like the 'victims' neeed to gun up.
Link Posted: 3/12/2005 3:32:34 PM EDT
If all of my firearms weren't lost in a boating accident, I would gladly hand them over.
Link Posted: 3/12/2005 3:34:29 PM EDT
Amnesty Int'l as a useless group.

All they do is bitch. Bitch bitch bitch. How many times have they changed something?

Now they want my rifles. Fuck 'em. They won't do anything anyway except send out more press releases. Major function of AI is to send PRs.

All they did was occasionally point out the conditions in Iraq.

AI talks.
US Military does.

"Some countries such as Canada and Australia have managed to bring down the murder rate of women by toughening laws on gun licensing"

WTF !!?? I thought crimes were INCREASING in those countries ?

Somebody photoshop the AI emblem with an AR instead of a candle inside the barbed wire. We'll become "AR15 International," thinking globally and acting locally for worldwide civilian RKBA.

HEY ! I managed to find one of the stickers.

I found an EVEN better place to put it than my ARs.

Btw - even as a sticker, it sucked. Didn't even pull any hairs out when I yanked it off.

MODS - let me know if this is over the line, and of course I'll remove the pic immediately.

I got your action, right here!

Yo're gonna get a lot of private messages from that post.

Pretty strong talking group for a nearly impotent organization. Someone should remind Brian Wood, Amnesty International's arms and security trade research manager that govts have been responsible for the massacre of more people than privately only guns. The UN is the part of the problem and not part of the problem.

What does truth have to do with this debate?

"Truth" is whatever a socialist tells you it is.

And you are "happy" in "sunny" Siberia.

I'm certain that if someone were to go to Moscow and get access to the old Soviet-era archives, they would find that both Amnesty International and Greenpeace were thoroughly infiltrated, funded and even controled by the KGB.

But nobody seems interested in dredging up all that old Cold War stuff.

What a load of shit.... 41% likely to be killed by a gun in the house? I guess I should be dead at least three times over since I was born and another three since I now have my own home and family. Oh, my wife never had a problem getting her own pistol.

what about that line where it says a gun in your house makes you 47% more likely to be murdered but if your a woman your not 270% more likely to die. So with how many guns each of you have, whats your percent? I'm over 200%

So, these international champions of human rights want the police to imprison and/or kill Americans for the crime of owning a particular kind of gun.

No, you have it wrong. They want to imprison or kill you for having ANY type of gun. Kind does not matter. They don't want you to have "small arms", defensive weapons. Nothing.

They want you to be future victims of social governments.

Remember, Socialists (Communists, Fascists... all flavors of Socialists) and Moslems kill people by the millions.

They have only armed citizens standing in their way.

It is a cultural war we are fighting people. The more I read, the more it becomes apparent.

Not more then 10 years ago, I though AI just wanted people safe from torture, and free from political prisons.

I thought that Greenpeace just wanted to save the whales.

Not that I supported them, but I didn't see them as a threat.

The fact that AI could be against civilian arms ownership, when they claim to be concerned about genocide, is disturbing.

It just goes to show: One can never overestimate the stupidity of a liberal.
