.22LR, Full Size Pistol that will eat any ammo?
Shot the Sig Mosquito and it is nice (feeling), but very picky on ammo; seems it only likes the good stuff (mag loads), this Sig has been fully broken in with 1000 rounds of CCI .22LR MAGS and still will not eat Federal .22LR.

Anyways, not bashing the SIG (it was borrowed for evaluation) just looking for some advice on a full size semi auto .22LR that eats anything and everything.

Thanks ahead of time.

My S&W 22A eats any 22lr I feed it.

I would get a buckmark or a ruger 22/45.

Ruger Mark 2-3.
Browning Buck Mark.
S&W Model 22.

Three of my favorite .22lr pistols. I also love my old Ruger Mark I, but I haven't shot many different ammo types through it.

22/45 and I've heard the cz kadets are pretty good but have a full sized price too match.

I'm gonna catch hell for this and I don't know why, but I have a Walther P22 that eats anything I throw at it flawlessly. Unless its a dead round or something like that.
I love that thing, never had an issue!

I have numerous Buckmarks and Ruger Mark 22LR pistols.  They all run on any bulk pack.

My Smith 422 says 22LR only but eats LR, 22 shorts and CCI stingers (same OAL as 22LR, but shell case is longer).

The S&W 617 is awesome. My brother has one. Eats everything and is extremely fun.

K22 or 18.

Or Ruger MKII.

Ruger Mark II/III

Never a malfunction that wasn't ammo related.

Plus they teach you new profane word combos the first couple times field-stripping them.

I've had 5 decades of experience with shooting and the best 22 LR pistol for a decent  price is the Browning Buckmark.  I've owned Ruger MKI, MKII and MKII's, Walther P22's  and many others too numerous to list here. The Rugers shoot DAMN fine and are accurate. A lot of 22lr pistols are ammo sensitive like the Walther P22, Sig Mosquito and others. The Ruger SR22 is a good alternative which is not as ammo sensitive. Right now , I own a Browning Buckmark and a Ruger SR22. Both shoot everything I've put into their mags.

Mine doesn't like much other than CCI Mini-mags. She's an expensive date these days.

My M&P22 has been fantastic. Very happy I bought it. The only problem I have with it is if you are used to really slamming your mags in during a reload the top round tends to pop up and stove pipe. Besides that I think I have had 1 failure in a couple thousand rounds. It didn't even have the occasional failure during break in which I expect from every semi auto. Most of what I have put through it was Federal bulk.

Mine too.  AG stamp.  Read up on it first, did a few "clean-up" mods before firing a shot.  Put 1200 rds through it with no probs, various ammo.  Only cleaned 2-3 times.  Using an AAc Pilot, it's real quiet, and pretty accurate too.  For a gun with a lousy reputation, mine's been A+.  Tossed a mount and a red dot on it for fun, and shot Federal Ultra (the Olympic stuff) at 25 yards was one ragged hole for 10 shots.  For cheap plastic, I was surprised.  I actually laughed after the last round and looked at the gun like "is this a joke?"

Honestly, it's been so long since I put anything but mini-mags through it. Last ones I remember were catching on the feed ramp and submarining, I think. Had a neckbeard in an LGS tell me I should polish it, but I'm no smith and don't really want to ruin my gun by monkeying with it--it's a 50th anniversary edition.

I kind of like my Father's Colt Diamondback, 4" barrel.
CB caps to long rifle shoot fine.
On the other hand, the Colt is a $1000 .22 used.  When you find one.

Mine was the same way, but still had some malfunctions with minimags, just fewer. I hated that thing and will not own another. My Buckmark has been through thousands of rounds with zero malfunctions of any type. That's amazing for any rimfire.
