A guy I know that runs a gun shop /CCW course has a 250 Mb Zip disk with corrupted info on it...

The recovery software I've tried so far doesn't see the zip drive(USB) as a hard disk, so it won't run.

Any suggestions on recovering the data???????

I can copy the folder over to my HD, but the data is corrupted.

I may just run the recovery SW on the files I moved to the HD if all else fails.

Zip drives suck (I have two sitting here that are totally hosed).  They might have been as asset before inexpensive CD-Rs and media were common.

I'm not certain if this will solve your problem grc.com/tip/codfaq1.htm, but might as well give it a try.

Why on earth would anyone be running a zip drive any longer?
