i have one and like it. I have heard that they are chrome lined by one distributor. And not by another. I can't tell on mine if it is or not.

The good points..

Much heavier and much more controllable for rapid fire.

Better machining than most chicoms i have seen.

Very COOL tritium night sights installed.

The bad points....

Many of us have problms with off the shelf ammo. Mine only cycles with true milsurp ammo. Wolf won't even move the bolt.

Heavy. Not something you will use for a truck gun or to drag through the woods.

CHECK YOUR BORE!!! many are coming in poor shape.

If i had another sks i'd keep it. These are good shooters but you can't beat a cheap chicom for a pack rifle.
