I like both...but really like Flogging Molly.  Seen them in concert.  Hate their politics, but they rocked.

+1

Flogging Molly rocks.  Just saw'em again in Orlando.  I wanted to start a soccer-style riot because the House of Blues ran out of Guinness before they even went on stage...and it was a Guinness-sponsored event!

I like the Corrs, but they are way more pop/mainstream than most of those listed here (but I like them anyway - beautiful harmony IMO).

ONE SHOT PADDY

In Ireland many years ago or so the legend says
Saint Patrick roamed the hills and glens to drive the snakes away,
But now we have another another saint that’s bad news for the crown
His name is “One Shot Paddy” and it’s Brits that he will hound!

[chorus]

The brits are getting worried they’ve all gone underground
If ‘One Shot Paddy’ sees them they know they’re going down
So the next time that you see the Brits with their faces full of fright
Look out for ‘One Shot Paddy’ and his friend called Eamon Wright!

Through the hills of South Armagh this gallant hero roams
He’ll wander through the countryside he likes to call his home,
And when he finds a target he will quietly take his aim,
It is then that you will hear the crack and the Brits know who’s to blame!

So if you’re home at night and the newsflash it is red,
Your man from South Armagh’s at work – another soldier dead,
And when it comes to celebrate Saint Patrick’s day cheer,
Remember ‘One Shot Paddy’ and the gallant IRA!

And another for the Saw Doctors... We've got Michael D rocking in the Dail for us....  (Probably only makes sense if you knew who Michael D Higgins is, but it's a classic)

Gaelic Storm do good trad stuff.

Two celtic fusion as opposed to Irish I've seen recently and like are Tempest and Old Blind Dogs.

Irish Brigade

was stopped by a soldier he said "you are a swine"
He hit me with his rifle and he kicked me in the groin
I bowed and I scraped, sure my manners were polite
Ah, but all the time I was thinking of me little Armalite!
Chorus:
And it's up along the bogside that's were I long to be
Lying in the dark with the Provo company
A comrade on my left and another one on me right
And a clip of ammunition for me little Armalite!

A brave RUC man came walking up our street
With 600 British soldiers gathered round his feet,
Come out ya cowardly Fenians come on out and fight
But he cried I'm only joking when he heard my Armalite!

Chorus:
And it's down along the Falls Road that's were I long to be
Lying in the dark with a Provo company
A comrade on my left and another one on me right
And a clip of ammunition for me little Armalite!
The army came to visit me 'twas in the early hours
With saracens and saladins and buggered armoured cars,
They thought they had me cornered but I gave them all a fright
With the armourpiercing bullets of me little Armalite!

Chorus:
And it's up in Crossmaglen that's were I long to be
Lying in the dark with a Provo company
A comrade on my left and another one on me right
And a clip of ammunition for me little Armalite!

Well the premier came to Belfast to see the battles won
The generals had told them we have them on the run,
The corporals and privates while on patrol at night
Said "send home for re-enforcement's it's the bloody Armalite!"

Chorus:
And it's up in old Poleglass that's were I long to be
Lying in the dark with a Provo company
A comrade on my left and another one on me right
And a clip of ammunition for me little Armalite!

I watched a concert special last night on TV. Five ladies called "Celtic Women".

Those girls were great. Particularly the little hotty blond violinist Mairead Nesbitt.
