Vote Counts: YEAs 39
NAYs 60

The "guest-worker" plan has NOT been voted on yet.

There's only been an "agreement" made behind closed doors between Frist, Reid etc. - no has been vote taken yet.

Sort of.

This cloture vote would have allowed the Dems to halt debate and bring the amendment up for a vote which would have passed with a simple majority vote.

Voting "Nay" prevented cloture demonstrating that there weren't enough votes to stop a possible filibuster by the non-RINO Republicans.

Damn.....This is fucked up, I work in the automotive manufacturing industries and threw the course of all of this I found out that one of the guy's that works for me may be an illegal alien. So tomorrow I will have H.R. do a background check on him and if it is true, I'm going to throw his ass right out the back door!!

Both of Idaho's senators voted nay, but I am still planning to write both of them a letter encouraging them to speak out against amnesty.

Chucky and Hillery voted yes so I sent them this fax:

No amnesty for lawbreakers!

No benefits for illegal aliens!

Build the wall along the US-Mexico border now and patrol the borders using National Guard troops.

When Illegals are identified, give them felony convictions and deport them and not allow them to ever come back legally!

They are not here to do the jobs Americans don't want to do, they are here to do the jobs that Americans don't want to do for $4 an hour!

You (Congress) shoved the 1986 amnesty down our throats, and legalized 5-6 million illegals with the promise that you would "fix the problem."  Guess what?  You lied to us!  Instead of fixing the problem you made it worse.  You stabbed us in the back.  Why should we trust you now? Are we going to do an amnesty every 20 years because of your gross incompetence?  I remember when illegals actually used to be afraid of the INS, now they just wave their Mexican flags at them and laugh!

Politicians, and you know who you are (you have the little -D next to your names), are willing to sell this country out for the prospect of 10-12 million potential future voters.  You want these illegals to become citizens because you think it will get your party back in power and keep you there.  The fact that you would even contemplate this shows all Americans you are power hungry scum and put what is good for you ahead of what is good for the country.  We are not impressed!  We are also not impressed with plans to allow them to buy their way into the country with visa application and processing "fees."  This is insane and shows you look at the solution as some kind of cash cow to fund your "drunken sailor" spending plans.

This is the greatest country in the history of the world.  A country that won World War II and developed the atom bomb and the personal computer can surely find 10-12 million illegals and deport them.  You just don't want to!  Why are we the only country in the world that is afraid to control its borders.  I don't care what Mexico thinks about our immigration and border policies and neither should you!  Please do what is right for this country and not Mexico.

I sincerely hope the House has the balls to do what the Senate doesn't seem to be able to do.
