What is the most important issue to you in the 2006 election?

For me it is guns, like usual, but I also think illegal immigration needs to be stopped and I wish the I believed the Republicans would do a better job.

Taxes. State-wide in Caif we have a slew bond and tax proposals. I'm voting "NO" on all of them.

Since I can't combine Taxes with any of the other issues, then I'll leave it as just plain taxes.

Overall, Taxes is very important to me, as it is a bellweather issue that most other important issues can be deduced from.

#2 - Terrorism.

#3 - Economic Development/Import/Export issues

#4 - Constitutional Issues, Rights, Patriot Act issues

The worst thing about this administration and the RINOs in congress is that they just may have screwed up so bad that the sheeple will vote for the other party.

Keeping the dems out of power is the only issue IMO.

Helps my rep R candidate is a real paleo/fiscal conservative with libertarian leanings.

My R senatorial candidate is a douchebag, but he's still better than Cantwell.

What a PP Preformance from them in the last several years.

If they lose some seats in the House and Senate, I think I'll deluge them with letters telling them to expect worse in '08 if they don't get their SH-- wired together.

Pathetic comes to mind when I think Republican lately..

Above all else, GUNS. I voted for the candidates who were endorsed by the NRA. The democratic candidate that's running for governor made an explicit point that he would absolutely defend the 2nd amendment and veto any further gun laws that the legislature tries to pass. So, I voted for him. Plus the Republican candidate is pretty far right as far as social issues go, and I'm more of a Libertarian than anything else (I really can't stand bible-beaters that try to bring THEIR religion into MY government).

illegal immigration isn't a huge deal here; for the most part we live and let live. They work at Tyson chicken plants and mind their own business and we don't bother them.

The war against Islamo-facists and taxes aren't really big things on my list this year...

You asked, I say Illegal immigration knowing that the Republican House members give me lip service and the Senate doesn't giva a $^!#. The Dems, on the other hand, ALL want to keep the illegals in for voting purposes.

That brings me to my fallback issue, GUNS. I feel relatively safe about guns in this election, however a Dem Pres or the RINOs being suggested make the next election ALL about guns.

Guns are already a non-issue in MA, and when (not if) we get a Fat-Teddy puppet Democrat governor to go with the Democrat legislature, the economy in this state is going to be a disaster to middle class White guys like me. The Dems projected budget is projected to go up $9B.

#1 - Stop the homeland invasion. Go home, Mexicans.

#2 - Kicking Muhammad's ass.

#3 - The economy. It's going strong and I want it to stay that way.

#4 - Low taxes are vital to a strong economy (see #3).

#5 - Gun rights. I don't see it as a huge issue right now, since pretty much everyone who supports #1, #2, #3, and #4 also support #5. We're not going to lose anymore ground here anytime soon, unless the ultra-cunty liberals take over, in which case we're in deep shit on all five issues and we're gonna need our gunz.

State Assemblywoman who is totally antigun is up for re-election
Anti-gun Governors candidate will probably win.
