Monkey, if you are referring to Desert Storm I hope you are not trying to equate our freeing an invaded country with the terrorist attack of last Tuesday.
America sat back and watched Nazi Germany take over most of Europe before we stepped into the fray after Pearl Harbor. We learned our lesson then and did not intend to make the same mistake twice. To I hope you are not attempting to compare Amicerans being pleased with the fact that the war effort was going well and would end soon, thus saving lives on both sides, to celebrating the senseless killing of innocent people at work on an office building. Maybe you are the one that should stop watching so much television and pick up a book. Then you might realize your error in hinting at liberal, pacivist ideals and step into reality. |
