But look at the pro-Palestinian slant on everything! Even the Red Cross Blunder is blamed on the 'Zionists'!

They got a thing about Jews too.

Oh, and a waste of bandwidth also.

If those dirtbags want to reclaim Texas, they're going to have a job on their hands. Didn't we whoop the snot out of a bunch of them back in the day? Of course, if we get out-bred, we'll soon get outvoted. Then it's time to vote from the rooftops, as a wise man once said.

The Aztlan movement has been going on above ground for a couple of years.  It's BS at this point.

I think it's more of an issue inside Old Mexico.  I keep getting references to the idea from President Fox's proposals.

Sort of a reversal of the Gadsden Purchase.

They aren't very good at math, either.  Check out their pictures of the Palestinian victim of an "800mm" (31.5 inch!) bullet:

Mostly rantings from the Latino Lefties.  WRT Professor (Damncanyouimaginethatheisteachingourkids!)Truxillo's comments:  There will not be a cecession as he wishes.  That just ain't in the cards.  Rather, there WILL be a gradual, legal  [and dare I say insidous?] takeover of power in the southwest by the Latino voting bloc.  This process has been in operation, albeit haltingly since the end of the Mexican War and the signing of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, widely derided and not recognized by a number of Mexicans and Mexican Americans.  (Hey...that's what happens in a war...somebody loses the battle and then they lose the territory and the gold!  Too bad...get over it!).
Anyway...the primary reasons for this slow but inexorable sea change in American politics (very clearly recognized by both major parties.) is twofold:  Illegal immigration continues apace and Latino birthrates vastly outstrip all other racial/ethnic groups.  With such an increase in population, comes an equal increase in numbers of voters.  The Latino voters of the American Southwest (largely of Mexican descent) are going to be a formidable power bloc that must be reckoned with in future elections.
As to the stupid blatherings about the "Zionist" former head of the American Red Cross, Ms. Healy...well that is not surprising coming from a bunch of pseudo-Marxist, America haters such as this bunch.  Many of these people, highly educated in our American [Usually Californian] universties, feel a strong bond between themselves (victims of American imperialism) and the Palestinians (more victimology...this time from those Nasty Zionists in Israel!).
Hun...fret not...fringies like these pose no viable threat to you...or Israel.  My advice...don't venture too far in the direction you are headed...it is becoming far too obvious.
Your focus appears to be narrowing even more than usual.  Let someone else carry the banner for a while.  Let these loonies rant all they want.  They are so far out on the fringe, Pluto looks next door!  (I knew a couple of these clowns in school...one a TA whom I had several run-ins with.  I finally realized that he was simply not going to listen to any logic or reason...and I just gave up and moved on.)
Bah!  Not worth further reading.
"A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both."...Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Somehow, LWilde, I don't feel much relieved by your post. If there are barbarians at the gate, then we should either welcome them in as true liberators, or fight them tooth and nail until we are either conquered or victorious.

Problem is, I can't imagine what 'victorious' means in such a situation as this!

They have a problem with everything not like them.  It really is too bad that there are such idiots in the world.  Heck, they even oppose that bitch Sen. Fineswine and her doings.  Any lefty who does not like her is WAY to the EXTREME left.

Their dislike for the Jews are quite obvious, too.

You guys are funny.

Texas has been getting more and more hispanic for years.  It is not a problem, and it is not a threat.

No kidding, the mexican people have a good work ethic.  I have no problem with them. The mexican gangs are more than just a little disturbing, but all of the gangs center around power, money and control of drugs.

I could care less if the Mexican voting block gets more people into office.  You ever watch a Dallas Independent School District school board meeting?

Now, that is some funny stuff.  Blacks and Mexicans are the two Majority populations in the DISD.  Both are STILL screaming at each other about which one is a minority.  Both want to claim they are a minority, but they deserve to be in control since so many of their kids are enrolled.  Scratch your head on that argument.

You are the minority, but you need to be in control because more of your students are enrolled.

Mexicans and Blacks, both screaming at each other about being a minority.  Neither is aware of the oriental, asian, baltic, middle eastern populations that are the TRUE minority populations.

Amazing stuff.

Well, it may not be a problem, and it may not be a threat, but I wonder if Generalissimo Santa Anna and the Mexican politicos didn't say and think precisely the same thing when Anglo-Americans started immigrating into what is now known as Texas.

There were some measures Mexico tried to hold back the tide, but they utterly proved fruitless in stopping history.

Old fashon Marxism with a relgious twist.  They must keep religion to gain Hispanic followers.

Maybe write them an ask for a Forum board, that would be fun.

Don't forget, the gringos were invited to move to Texas by the Mexicans, with the understanding that they would enjoy the full benefits of the then-current constitution of Mexico. Santa Anna soon abrogated that agreement, which started the ball rolling.

Illegal immigrants have no such invitation, and we need to get serious about shutting the party down.

What a load of crap.

Petty bitching about the Mexican-American war won't get them anywhere.

From what I can tell, this is an arm of La Raza (or an organization affiliated or similar to them)

La Raza :the Race.  As used in Southern California (Having moved from there, I have firsthand knowledge of some of this), this group promotes the idea that southern California (at the very least) is still Mexican territory - that they didn't move, the border did, and illegally.  As far as I can tell it's a socialistic/communistic organization that wishes to return the southwest to Mexico (probably in part because of the economy there), and is attempting to do so by moving so many people into the area that they supposedly will be able to ride roughshod over those that would then be in the minority.

Please don't misconstrue my words.  Many of the Hispanic people that I knew in California wouldn't have anything to do with this group, worked hard, and loved the U.S. (oh, and were here legally) - but this group, through the liberal politicians in L.A. and SF and Sac, are pushing to have all right for all immigrants (even the illegals) including the right to vote.

I'm sorry, but this group is about as UN-american as it gets...

It used to be that I thought the solution to the "Mexico problem" was to simply invite them into the union, but these days, I really doubt that would do much besides overburden our welfare system and therefore our budget.

One thing I have to admit about the illegal aliens here--they really know how to fly under the radar!  They don't pay taxes, they don't worry about gun laws, licenses for cars, or labor laws or most any other laws.  They are near complete outsiders to the system and yet their labor is so valuable that the system mostly ignores them unless they commit a serious crime.  I often wonder which of us is better off / less of a slave.  Another example of the "proles" from the book 1984.

They are communists:

The article I quoted from their site was written by an editor for the Granma. For those who don't know, the Granma is the Communist News Outlet in Cuba and every word it prints has to meet Castro's approval.

I have no problem with this, just how do you propose to hang onto that gem, San Diego.  It truly is a beautiful town - altho, sadly, it too is becoming more and more Liberal.
