Wow. While I think that abortion is inherently wrong and disgusting, I err on the side of freedom on the matter and don't think I should get into a mother's business. However this is just fucking disgusting. She WANTED to get pregnant, loaded up on fertility pills, etc and now she wants to abort one of her twins? She shouldn't be allowed to keep the other child either.

My wife is pregnant following IVF, she is almost 17 weeks pregnant, we had an ultrasound at 13 weeks and saw the baby moving around, it looked like (and is) a small living person and the idea of killing it disgusts me. Here is our baby, about the same age as the one she killed.  |

She chose to have 2 or more fertilized embryos implanted into her. Her fertility doctor would have advised her on the chances of multiple pregnancy and made she was ok with that, she signed a consent form to have that number of embryos implanted into her.

What is life?, what is the spark? All I know is that at our 13 week ultrasound I could hear my child's heartbeat, I could see it moving around. At 13 weeks a fetus can move its arms, it's legs, it's fingers, it's toes. It can even do things like hiccuping, stretching, yawning, sucking, swallowing, grasping, and thumb-sucking. I never felt strongly about abortion until that ultrasound but that convinced me a 13 week fetus is alive and should not be aborted until it is necessary to save the mother's life.

Ok let's face facts here. Those who are wanting to adopt children really want white babies first. That said if there were no demand for children then why are many Americans having to go overseas to adopt? My brother and his wife were not able to have children, so they adopted from the Philippines. Many go to China and Russia to adopt. Abortion IS murder plain and simple.

I broke down. It's fucking murder. I used to be okay with abortion until I watched my son grow in my wife's womb. His life started the minute God allowed him to grow in her womb. That baby will never utter words, love or cuddle withs it's parents. That was an innocent person destroyed no matter how you look at it.

Every woman I know who's had that "procedure", has psychological issues.
Back when I thought I found my soul-mate, we made decisions only married couples should have made...bought a house, Yukon, and an "accident" happened. It took me a few weeks to accept it, saw my daughter on the ultrasound and I actually started to look forward to being a father. A couple months later, she had a miscarriage, which crushed me, and my mother even worse, as she would have been her first grandchild. Relationship eventually went to shit thanks to her son from previous marriage, who was ADHD, bipolar, with psychotic episodes. A few years ago, I found out she didn't have a miscarriage, she had aborted my daughter because she didn't think she could handle another kid at that time, dealing with her son's issues-kicked out of 5 daycares and 3 schools at 6 yrs old, residential treatment, social services involved, and so on. I can't describe the hurt and rage I felt when I found out. Meanwhile, she's on marriage #5. |

Soon as there is a spark, even on day one of pragnacy, it is alive. It may not be a "human" yet but it is alive. Anything you do to stop it from living / growing can only be described as killing it.
Out bodies are nothing but a large mass of cells working togther, right. So even if it was just a cluster of cells, you could argue its a very small human. It not any of my business tho, their choice. It between you and God. Rather believe in him or not. |
