Cant be any more difficult then hitting a chopper with an RPG and we know thats happened multiple times. Since our MK19s are automatic, it would seem to me to be easier to me to hit a bird thats flying low.

the problem with the mk19 is the fact that it has a trajectory like a rainbow(compared to most mg rounds) and the rate of fire is very low.  its great for ground targets, but it wouldnt be my first choice for anti air duty.

I know the full MK-19 with its assortment of real life goodies is enough to give a fellow a full on war-gasm.

You're right, it was the Solothurn. He used it because he could take it apart, unlike the Lahti.

Unintended Consequences. Read it.

if this is as well made and designed as their 1919's.... i'll pass.

Isnt this the truth.  I have an ORF 1919 and I have not shot it yet.  They did use quality materials in their firing mechanism and they have a tendency to fail.  You need new internals and some machining to make it right.   A few hundred dollars is what it would cost.

You get what you pay for, always.
