...When Charles Schumer doesn't even talk about it! He has started dipping into his $26 million warchest and has been peppering the airwaves with all of his plans and accomplishments. Nowhere does the word "Assault Weapons" or any kind of gun control appear in his ads. Yet six years ago it figured prominently.

Very strange...

For Democrats, gun control is never dead. Don't ever think that they'll not use it when the time is appropriate. To the socialists, gun control and disarmament is pivotal to securing their utopia.

Yes, I did not mean to imply that the issue was going away. It is the irony that even Schumer is not talking about it in this election cycle that is really bizarre. He will be re-elected (no doubt) and I am sure a new incarnation of S.1034 will be introduced either by him or DiFi (Too bad DiFi is not running in Kali. I wonder if she would bring it up in her election ads this cycle.)

It's not a dead issue, we will always have attempts at gun controls and gun bans. Firearm ownership will always be a hot topic, I feel the future holds more efforts to ban guns, the anti's just don't like the idea of ordinary people having them, they think were too irresponsible and it poses a danger to our society. The method that is used, is to sway public thinking on this subject, eventually the sheeple will out number us gun owners and that will be the end, it's a slow process. This is why I support the NRA and try my individual best, to do my part at keeping our 2nd amendment alive and well.

Yep, the Dems have never given up gun control. Just look at their platform, which says it all.

Guns are their impediment to a one-world government.

So to fight the Dems, go out and buy a gun. The more guns in the gun over-all population, the harder it is for the Dems to confiscate them from every Tom, Dick, Harry, & Harriette.

You are so right. Schumer, Feinstein, Kennedy and their ilk (Not sure what ilk is but it sounds like them.) will never give up.
