After reading about how great the Marlin Model 60 .22 is in an earlier thread, I am now heading out to go buy one to replace my 10/22 jammomatic piece of crap.

Also from an earlier thread today, I was prompted to buy a Forschner chef's knife.

Please do me a favor, if you guys really like a certain gun or knife keep it to yourself as you are collectively driving me to the poor house.

You should see what drunken late night ammo purchasing has done to my bank account.

Been there done that, although I wasn't drinking so no excuse for my late night ammo buying. Ammo to Go has hundreds of my dollars spent in the middle of a sleepless Saturday night.

My 10/22s run fine. Jamming is almost always a magazine problem.

Butler Creek Steel Lips FTW.

That's all you've bought and you're complaining?

This place has cost me a LOT more than that! I don't even want to start speculating...

While I have spent a lot of money since joining here, I would have to say that this place has saved me more than it cost.  I was always going to spend the money, the members here have steered me to spending it more wisely.

How much are you asking for the jamomatic 10/22?

Holy Crap!

I was just thinking that. Spent just over $1500 at AmmoToGo last week.

Don't even get me started on my 10/22. Bought it brand new under 500 rounds through it with about 50 FTE and FTF's. I have tried the following:

1. Brand new steel lipped Butler Creek magazines

2. Multiple brand new Ruger 10 round factory magazines.

I hate the 10/22 and it is a shame because it is the stainless one with the longer barrel. Very accurate when it decides to feed correctly.

Every time I go to the safe and see that piece of crap in there I do on of these ==>

Very excited to get my hands on the Marlin 60

The author of this thread purchased new PMAGs from a site sponsor then donated them to ten AR15.com members who are active duty military and have served in combat.

Thank you for improving the morale of our military, Sig_Fan.  I hope you have a blessed new year.

Thanks 82nd for that and for your help getting that done.

Many blessings to you too sir.

I had never heard of Aimpoint, ACOG, Rock River, XM193, Magpul, etc.... before I got here. The ole bank account has taken a beating since 2003.

I jointed and then got scared about the ban.  You know how much G17/AR15 High cap mags cost these day.  I have spent $X,XXX on mags in the last month.  And don't even start with handguns and rifle. 3 Rock Rivers ain't cheap.

Who needs money? Stay nice and warm with my guns!  Besides, I don't golf.
