You sick sons of bitches.

Only proper way is with fresh corned beef, with potatoes and maybe eggs.  Guinness is a given.

Find yourself some dirty, small, privately owned diner. That's where you will find the best corned beef hash.

This.  The "better" restaurants want to chop and dice the potatoes and onions and shred the corned beef and none of it sticks together.

Best CBH I've had was at the old O'Hare Ramada north of the interstate on Mannheim Rd.   Crispy crust, soft underneath.  I'm a heretic, though, I like scrambled eggs with mine, not poached.

At the risk of being tarred and feathered, I like corned beef hash more than bacon.

You are in for a pleasant surprise. made to order is win. Start with a baseball sized chunk of freshly braised corned beef and grated potatos on a hot grill and just go huhot style spatula maniac on it.

Hunt camp tradition here, at least one days lunch is Corned beef hash from the can fried brown in a pan, then mixed with creamed corn.

Go ahead, I can take it....

The best I had was canned and some fresh eggs that a guy that had "free range"chickens gave me.

The yolks were orange and huge.

That was delicious. Theres a greasy spoon downtown that makes a good CBH too.

Trader Joe's has a good roast beef hash mix, usually pick up a couple packs to take backpacking. A little ketchup and you've got a hardy hot breakfast. YUM!
