You've all heard of the "You might be a gun nut if..." list, right?

Well, I was doing some yard work this weekend when I suddenly realized I was a lost-case gun nut (as if that's a bad thing [:D]).

You know you're a gun nut if: You practice proper barrel, trigger, and magazine-swapping discipline when using a cordless drill.

Yeah, baby!

Edited to reflect the type of drill I actually use. It's not an exact match, but close enough.

I sure do want one of those high-powered, drill-through-kevlar-and-armor, hi-capacity, post-ban assault DeWalts, though!

I just got one of those when I moved, because putting my desk together was a PITA without one.

I did notice I'd keep my finger off the trigger, and kept it pointed down while I wasn't drilling away with it!

Hell, I find myself even holding it with both hands, barrel down, SMG-style, when stooping over to get where I'm going.

My wife thinks I'm [whacko]

Guilty as charged! [:D]

If it's a 3/8" chuck, it's lame.
Gotta be 1/2".

The Hitachi, I've had for years.
Best drill I ever bought.
I wear it in a tactical thigh-rig holster.[:)]

Me too, basically when I handle anything with a mechnaism similar to a trigger I handle it like a firearm.
