So a coworker of mine gave me a few cigars out of his humidor after I gave him a san cristobal and some others.

I figured what the hell right? I've had a blonde before but I figured thus krush class would be different. I was wrong.

It was horrible. It was one of the worst things I tasted. He says he likes them because they are a fun cigar.

So I'm absolutely positive that I 100% hate ALL acids.

There is a reason that the first syllable in Acid is "Ass"....

They recently started selling single Acid Blondes at the local stop and rob in the little foil packs like other mid-range cigars.... Tried one the other night and it was horrid.

I do not understand flavored cigars at all... Seems like they are trying to cover shitty tobacco. And this is from someone who enjoys 5 Vegas cigars on a fairly regular basis.

They are called acid because they need to be dropped into pots of acid

The Kuba Kuba isn't horrible. The rest, I really wanted to like them, but I couldn't just get there. Whatever they use is far to powerful.

They are for people who hate the taste of tobacco.

One of the guys in my squad here in AFG found a couple at the PX. Now, I am far from an expert, but I warned him against them.

A day later he was trying to trade them away. No takers.

I finally gave up on the Kuba Kuba, Kuba Maduro and Atom maduro that I had smoked for years. It wasn't the flavorings, I liked them. It was the abysmal build quality, which is exceeded easily by the cheapest cigars you can buy. I simply dug in my heels and refused to pay the store price of $8 or even the online price of $4.50 that you can sometimes find. I mean you pay $130 for a box of 24 and a few are pretty good - the rest of them have a tight draw, split wrapper, loose cap, unwind as you smoke (if you can smoke the dog stick at all) or simply taste like sweepings. Its so bad I can't help but think there's some kind of scam going on where they sell seconds (or thirds) at full price. I decided to find $2 cigars that I could smoke. After trying a few, I settled on Perdomo Fresco Maduro Robusto for the time being. A nice smoke, particularly after enduring the Drew Estates for some time. The thing is, all of the $2 bundle cigars I tried were better-made than the Acids. Even the ones with a tight draw got better after a few days in the humidor. Like most store cigars, they were over-humidified. None of them split after lighting, had a loose cap or unraveled. This just verified for me that I wasn't nuts or too picky, the Acids are typically very bad cigars.
