I flew back home to Nebraska for Grandma's funeral last week. After the funeral and visiting and what not we got to cleaning out the house. Well my mom and sister found a forgotten box hidden in a closet since 1979 when Grandpa passed away (8 years before I was born).

Just for comparison, on the left is my daily driver... I bought it in Florida brand new for $2.76 in 2008 at a salon store of all places. I still have less than 3/4 of the 100 blades I paid all of 3 dollars for so I figure I shave for less than a half a penny a day at this point.

Researching the interwebs has lead me to believe this was manufactured in South Bend Indiana somewhere between 1946 and the mid 1950's. I still have the warranty card and instructions, they just weren't pictured. Better yet, it still winds up and works as if it were new. Time to invest in another curio cabinet

I know it looks insane, but try it. Everyone I've heard of giving a Live Blade a shot loves it.

One day I might give it a shot, I've heard similar stories on other shaving forums as well.
