Anyone have/know of issues with the YMCA and concealed carry?  Yes, I know "concealed means concealed", but there would be a chance of someone seeing your gun while changing.
Would they revoke my membership and ban me for life if did carry* there and someone saw it?
*Strictly a hypothetical scenario - I would never carry a gun to the YMCA even if I did own a gun - which I don't.

You would have to read their policies / procedures.  Generally listed in their membership pamphlet.

I wouldn't carry inside one anyway, as I would be leaving it in a locker (even if its locked). Not worth the chance.

I've never had a problem with it and have been a Y member for a long time, that said, putting a gun in a locker there would be a bad idea, just leave it in the car.

I leave mine in my gym bag. Of course my y is deep in the burbs and full of 70 year old retired steal workers

And "steal workers" wouldn't steal a gun, heh heh...

Is it safer in a car in the parking lot than in a locker?  If I had to break into one, I'd pick the car for sure, at least you can see people walking up to you, in the locker room, a person could be standing next to you about 5 seconds after you hear them coming.  Bolt cutters would look a little suspicious, and not so easy to conceal either

The chance of someone seeing me with a gun in a locker is 10 times higher than me putting it into a locked glove box when I park far away from the door.

That is my opinion.
