Well, as many know, my bride had surgery and recovery issues from Thanksgiving through Xmas.
She's back at work though still sore, but well over the hump.

Well, I told her about a deal on a weapon .....and she decided that since I was such a good boy taking care of her while she was ill and she couldn't shop for Xmas......on 12/31 she got me this.....damn, I'm a lucky man! Now it's time to get those extra stick mags and a drum or two!!! Going to the range Saturday!

Nice rifle, I love the look of the Thompson and watching Band of Brothers lately has me liking it even more for the history.

The History Channel has run a show a couple of times about the history of the Thompson. I have never been able to catch the whole thing but what I saw was good stuff.

We made it to the Sam Houston National forest on Saturday.
What a blast!
The Thompson hardly recoils at all due to the weight.
Lots of fun, though the Wolf ammo dirtied it up after a while and I started getting some jams.
