German made blank gun or teargas gun.

Sold in the back of old gun magazines

I believe it is a 22 blank firing gun. There was a square shaped metal strip that held 6 blanks, and it slid under the barrel. The cartridges faced up, and the strip moved backwards as you fired.

I think it's an old teargas pistol.  The magazine that help the cap-shaped tear gas cups was in a square magazine that moved through the gun as the trigger was pulled to advance to the next round.  I think I have one somewhere.

It had a slide in magazine that held the 22 caliber blanks, my Father gave this same gun to me when I was 11 or so.
It was lost at some point.

I bought one when I was about 12 or 13. My big idea was to convert it from semi-auto to full auto... Then the gun came in and I saw it wasn't anywhere near semi-auto...

Blank gun. The square part is were the strip of blanks goes in.

Popular here as its not considered a immitation firearm. Dutch faggotry means you actually need a firearms license for a proper starting gun, you will need to prove you need it to start crap in amateur or pro sports

Uses this kind of ammo

Look at the image Iggy posted. You load the blanks in that metal strip then slide the strip into the square opening below the barrel. The trigger is double action, pulling it will cock and release the hammer/striker and fire the blank. Pulling the trigger also causes the metal strip to move forward (or backward I can't remember) and indexes a fresh blank under the hammer/striker.

I bought one years ago when I thought I was a gunsmith. I wanted to make it go full auto and be cool. When the damn thing came in the mail I was very disappointed to find out how it worked.
