In his Senate testimony back in '71, Kerry's closing line was some like how do you ask a man to be the last combat fatality for the mistake that was VN.

Kerry chose to make his service in VN the cornerstone of his post convention campaign. As a result:

1. The Swifties have torn him a new one.
2. The fradulent TANG "documents" on Bush make the Kerry campaign look inept and crooked.
3. By comparison, Bush looks even more presidential.
4. The military is well-know to favor Bush over Kerry. Kerry gets a cold greeting from Vet groups.

How do you tell John Kerry that his actions in and after Viet Nam make him one of the greatest political casualties of all time?

I guess he gets told at the polls. Will he listen? I doubt it.

The scary thing is that the left doesn't care about any of that.

They sure don't. The nutjob liberal at work was going on about how great a hero Kerry is and that just because Bush had an honerable discharge doesn't mean he served honerably.
