Trade my NIB Sig P220 Combat TB for both an M1 Garand (very nice one btw) and NIB Microtech Currahee knife.

The Sig is a safe queen and I've always wanted another Garand after selling my first one. What say, guys?

How much you want for the Sig?

Under absolutely no circumstances should you trade or exchange a modern handgun (and a nice Sig, not to mention) for an old-ass, milsurp rifle. No matter what kind of knife if comes with.

I dont care for sigs or that knife so I would do the trade for the M1 and a little bit of cash or ammo.

Depends on how nice the Garand is, I guess.

Yeah, if it were me, I'd make the trade.

Damn Skeletor, I think I'm gonna have to confiscate your copies of Saving Private Ryan and Gran Torino. Hold onto em until you see the light!

What, no poll? Have him throw in a naked picture of his wife and call it good.

Keep the Sig, thats a great gun. Just do the CMP program and you can get a good garand for a decent price, that way you will have the best of both worlds.

if you don't want the sig but want the garand then yes
Link Posted: 9/17/2009 10:26:38 AM EST
I don't really care for Sigs.

The hallmark of a fair deal, is if you turn it around.

If the situation was reversed, would you feel comfortable with it?

If >you're< satisfied that it's what you want, and you're good with it, who cares what anyone else thinks?

Example A)
I swapped a complete set of D&D books (to be certain, they were collector's items) for a car once.
I needed a car - I didn't need the books. He had an extra car, and wanted the books.
Everybody's happy.

Example B)
I was going to an OA function 200 miles away. I was driving anyways. I traded a ride there, to another guy who makes all sorts of crafty stuff, for a nice pair of home made moccasins.

I was driving and spending the gas anyway, he didn't want to drive, he had something I wanted. So rather than pay cash, we did that. Again, everyone satisfied.

I'd do it.

I'd do it

But I don't like Sigs and I love Garands.

edit: I just googled the knife, seems nice and expensive. I'd def go with the deal.

Not sure I would do it but if the sig is something you dont shoot and you would the garand then do it.

If it's a safe queen then who cares? It's not like you'll actually miss the Sig if all it does is sit there.
Link Posted: 9/17/2009 11:38:41 AM EST
I'd do it.

Sig P220 Combat isn't really safe queen material, in my book. I'd do the trade, as long as it really is a nice M1. We can't see the M1, though.

I'd do it
hell yeah

If its nicer then a Service grade, I would do it.

It would of been a done deal
