Quoted: Would you like to see California patrolling a border? They'd probably give them rides into town.

California leads the other 50 both in military recruiting and service in Iraq and Afghanistan ... how's Massachusetts doing in the real manhood test?
Oddly enough the state has a voter initative making the rounds which would stand up a California state border patrol. It's calculated to cost about 200-300 million dollars and save us billions. Looks like it's going to pass according to early polls.
We'' give them rides into town alright ... that's were we put our jails. Care to bet that they'll let them go free? Fuck the federal damn government who has been letting them go Jon. You might not know any better but the federal government is responsible for maintaining the federal border.
When local, state, or county police arrest illegal aliens, in California or Massachusetts, they call the INS (now ICE) for them to pick them up. Guess what? The federals refuse to come and pick them up now. We spend several hundred million dollars keeping these federal prisoners in our state jails. They're overflowing with the federal prisoners.
Screw that and screw the Senate. The four border states have for more than 30 years that I've been watching trying to secure the southern border under both Democrat and Republican controlled House and Senates.
The biggest cost is in the murders commited by the hundreds of illegals who have killed Americans all along the border because of the limp dicked federal do-nothing government. The blood of hundreds of citizens and police are on their hands. The damn Senate is too busy stuffing their pockets and passing pork spending for worthless projects rather than homeland defense and border patrol. Build hundred million dollar bridges to no where. Spend millions on the study of the mating habbits of bugs.
And by all means keep cracking jokes over things that you have no clue about while the Al Quidia bring hundreds or thousands of agents across the border and pray to God that they're just bringing tons of coke and pot across the board each night rather than anthrax or nuclear weapons. It's not California's responsiblility to enforce the boarder, nor pay for the grief that it causes no more than it's Texas', New Mexico's, or Arizona's ... the other states are just starting to notice the thousands of illegal border crossings every night are causing them problems. They'll stew in their own juices when their capitol city is bombed with a biological or chemical weapon.
The border states will stand up state police and militias to secure the federal border, hopefully before the nukes walk across the border.
Recently, I discussed the push in Massachusetts to grant in-state tuition to illegal aliens who live in the state. Now, the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune has more details on the proposal, including the thoughts (if I may use the term loosely) of one of its proponents.
State Representative William Lantigua (D-Lawrence) is one of the bill's backers, but he wants to put a condition on the tuition break for illegal aliens: they have to agree to work in Massachusetts for three years after they graduate.
Massachusetts legislature is so overwhelmingly Democratic (137 of 160 Representatives, 34 of 40 Senators) that overriding his vetoes is a simple matter of marshalling enough of their troops.
My long history of observing Massachusetts politics has led me to a simple rule: when given a choice between doing the smart and responsible thing or the politically correct and stupid thing, bet on them doing the latter. With that in mind, I predict that it will pass.
