So, the bad guys see a big flashing red light when your gun is empty.
Great idea |

I'll pick one up the next time I get a chamber flag (I know some ranges require them but I don't go to those ranges).

Well that's one of the dumbest ideas I've ever seen.
Heck, the R.A.F. figured out the whole "last 40 rounds of .303 tracer to tell the pilot he was about out" almost 80 years ago. |

He shot, pumped; shot, pumped; shot, pumped; -click, no bang-
And the -click, no bang- wasn't enough of a clue that he was out of ammo? Lol. |

I'm trying to decide it that would be useful on a 3Gun shotgun, and I don't see it.
I usually plan my reloads, and don't check the mag tube first. |

how long til someone chambers the last round but see's that light blinking and fires that round while making his youtube video in his living room.

I've got a buddy who'll undoubtedly purchase one of those if he sees it on a gun show table. He'll be drawn to it like a moth to a flame.

Yep, no fighting man worth his salt would ever use a shotgun in combat!!! https://static1.squarespace.com/static/538112c0e4b0870ae9a4d9b0/53bd8a8ae4b0c9db7aa86fb8/53bd8acde4b0ef294e51a6c3/1407195355681/IRQ_06.jpg?format=1000w View Quote |

View Quote Actually, I am only half kidding...I think it would be a cool little feature to add to a neat little gun! I use an AR and glock 21 for HD, so taking this to the range will only add to the conversation that is already being undertaken due to my little LEGAL shotgun! |

Gear queers will buy them by the truckload. Some guy just made his fortune with 10 cents worth of Chinese electronics.

No, there's one pic of a breacher but the rest were/are used for close quarters combat. Folks in that area seem to have an inordinate fear of shotguns. Shotguns and bayonets. So I would imagine this would drop them like a narcoleptic goat: https://www.shootingillustrated.com/media/1537133/ithaca-37.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I could use this on the skeet field. Oh wait, I have a Citori O/U. Darn.

I read an article in '04-05 about the combat shotgun in Iraq, from a guy whom carried a Mossberg 590. He said that the Iraqi kids all called him "Pooomp Ackshun" because of his weapon, and that he only used it twice in an offensive/defensive situation. Both times it put down his opponent quickly, and he was only issued slugs for ammunition. View Quote If they won't give us patrol rifles then I'll stick with slugs. |

It's rather difficult to see that when you are actually using the shotgun.
To this point it seems that getting a click when you are trying to shoot the shotgun...or feeling it lock back if it is a semi-auto...seems to be a sufficient signal to put more shells in it. |
|
You lost me at shotty . The LED thing is major retard master level
|

I once read an ad or a post on a forum about a mint condition Mossberg shotgun. I don't know if the writer did it intentionally, but I was able to pull "Minty Mossy Shotty" out of the post within the first two or three sentences.

All of my shotguns stop firing when out of shells. Then I know I need to reload.
|
|
|
the gun not going bang might be a good indicator you are empty. just saying.
|
|
Firing the gun to empty and getting a click instead of a bang is a faster way to know you're empty, rather than having to look ON THE BOTTOM SIDE OF THE GUN for a blinking red light.

I have an orange follower in my 500, it was cheap and I thought it would be a good idea to have. Honestly though, it seems worthless as under stress you're gonna just run it dry anyway and hear a click. But, then again, the entire idea of a defensive shotgun seems worthless to me.

|
I can count backwards from 11 just fine and my shotgun locks back after the last round anyways.
