So I've been buying some LaRue stuff for my ARs the last couple years, and I've got some more parts for a new rifle on my wish list. Specifically a 12" FF handguard.
No matter. Much to my chagrin, I've managed to abuse my favorite piece of LaRue equipment to the point of only partial function. If you look closely at the photo below, please notice the "Feed Ramp" of my Dillo has been worn down through repeated, though normal, abuse.

EDIT: The 12" rail is well worth it. I really enjoy mine. |

I've worn out two Dillos... I have a friend who drinks A LOT of beer, he'll wear out a Dillo in no time, I won't give him any.

I have found, that the tail, is a great tool to use to tighten the main screw on a TLR1 light.
Honestly, if it were not for my dilla, I wouldnt drink any beer that required a opener. |

not to call you out, but im tempted to think that since the dillo is sitting in a vice you might have worn it down with a file, not with bottle caps.
another indicator is the groove in the dillo which would indicate that you had opened each cap at precisely the same spot so that the same crimp on the cap wore the groove into the dillo, unlikely. |

He was probably filing down his firing pin, but the Dillo jumped in to save his AR. |

Your Photo-Foo skills suck. Had to stare at awhile with my head cocked to the sided to figure what I was looking at.
I can't say much. I haven't figured out how to work a digital camera yet. Hoping my daughters take pity on me a walk me though the damn things.
