Actually, it's a new model for shooting down airplanes at long range.

It also signifies the UNs main business is brothels of unclaimed women.

It's weird that you ask, the g/f and I just finished watching it about thirty seconds ago... Skip it. Utterly lame.

That's the sooper dooper gun for shooting around corners. Plus the boolet picks up a bunch of velocity after going through the twisted up "velocity stack".

gun looks photoshopped into the main pic

that is a real statue, supposed to signify how the UN will stop conflict.

From Luxembourg.

it is a disgrace of a stature that stands in complete disagreement with everything this nation stands for, it should be torn down,

I've been there. There is a statue there that, if it is not the one in the picture, bears a VERY close resemblence.

That statue was given by Luxembourg. In Europe revolvers are considered civilian guns.

So the statue actually signifies that the UN want to disarm all civilians and rule over us like a tyranny.

Less than 100 miles form the Colt factory.

The statue is a representation of the U.N.'s military ability.

Every time I see a picture of the POS, I wish that I had the skills (both practical and operational) to outfit a crew as workmen and go up there with scaffolding, et c. about 7 AM one day, saw the barrel off behind the knot, add a front sight, and put a big plaque on it reading:

THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS: A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT

concealed carry: the honest man's shield

YOU GOT IT!

The statue was installed in 1986.

It's real....was created by some left wingbnut sobbing over John Lennin being shot to death. It also accurately portrays the UN's stance on civilian gun ownership. I had a plan once to attach a rather large truck to it and pull it from it's mounts. Unfortunately it' 8.5 tons or so. Not exactly an easy job for anything short of heavy equipment.

Als othought of a number of armed AMERICAN'S going to "dispose" of said repugnant statue in a peacable manner. Don't think that would work either.

People are dying from AIDS in Africa in record number. I guess it would be too much to ask to have a large dick tied in a knot in black granite.

What do you think its made of ? Bronze ? Steel ? Bet it wouldn't take more than 20 minutes to chop it and braise a new front sight on.

Colt should sue them for using the colt python without their permission......

I'm sure colt could do that. They did it with the whole m4 thing.

I think a petition to colt would be nice... some phone calls etc... tell them that you as a colt customer are very disappointed that the UN could do something so dastardly using a Colt firearm design and would like to see them hurt for it. But in nicer terms of course.

It is a mission statement for why the UN needs to get the fcuk out of the US.

If you want it gone, just sneak up there in the middle of the night , and carve the ten commandments on it.
Link Posted: 10/3/2004 3:39:42 PM EDT
just-Mike haha, that's funny, maybe someone should take a saw up there in the middle of the night and cut off the knot and weld a metal post saying ".....shall NOT be infringed." then leave. =]
