Well, yes if he bought you a H&K USP.

Just kidding. Hopefully he got you a few boxes of shells so you can blast on your birthday as well.

Happy bday.  Mine is Monday (12th).  I bought myself a LEGP 2001 M4gery, love it!!!  and I have owned a Sig P220 .45 ACP for many years.  Its the most accurate, finest semi-auto pistol I know of.  All Sig's are great.  Congrads!

Congrats on the pistol.  As to the others, there is no finer factory pistol made.  Once the rest of you guys figure that out, your lives will be much brighter.[:D]

And by the way  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

For safety reasons may I ask if the p228 has a mag safety, my p220 doesn't?

Here's my new baby...

AmOTramp...it has a decocking lever and an automatic firing pin lock...no mag safety.  How do you like your p220?

Are you sure that's a 228 in two tone?

I have a 220 and a 228.  One of my good friends went out and got a 228 for himself and then his girlfriend demanded one for herself after both of them shot my 228.  They both say it is the sweetest shooting pistol they have ever shot and they have both been shooting for a long time.  He even likes it better than his revered Glock.[:O]

Oh, get the Hogue grips.  They are a must on any pistol.

Yep, it's a 228 in two tone.  Hubby wanted to get an all black one, but they didn't have one in stock.  He was disappointed, but I like the two tone.  I think it's kinda cool.

Hogue grips, huh?  I'm sure I'll be checking out all the available bells and whistles.  What do you like about the them?

AR-15gal, I love my Sig P220. I am proud to take it out at the range. It's really easy to strip and clean, and as honest a firearm as you can buy. Good luck to you.

Hogues are mandatory for any gun.  I have them on my Sigs, my Rugers, and on all my AR15s and all my friends that have Glocks have the slipon Hogue.  They just give you a better grip for better control.
