Hope Botach doesn't fuck me...

That's a lot of hoping.
I ordered my M3 switch over two months ago.
After 3 messages telling me of delays, I finally cancelled yesterday.

I ordered a pair from them last year - showed up in 4 days.

I think that may be a bit extreme.  Yes, the soles are soft rubber and wear quickly.  Yes, they are basically a pair of wrestling shoes with nubby soles.  [b]But[/b] they are light, extremely comfortable and break in instantly.  They offer excellent traction in urban environments (except wet tile - ouch).

For extended marches or outdoor work, there are better options.  I paid $139 at Botach and love the boots.  When the soles wear out, they can be resoled for about $50 with a more durable material.
