They accept "almost any form of payment"; I wonder what they would do if you pulled up with a trailer load of registered Holsteins to trade?

That's one of the "1 of 1000" Winchester '73.  They were kind of the "super accurate" Winchesters of their day.  The price does sound kind of steep, last one I saw sell went for $75,000.

It's $130k; prior to this, the most expensive Winchester I have seen for sale in person was a pristine 1866 for $30000.  And I thought my Model 53 takedown was the shiznit!

One detail to remember about these guns - Winchester didn't actually build 1000 of these rifles, the number is considerably less.  Wilson's book on Winchesters has the numbers for the One of One Thousand and the One of One Hundred rifles.

I would want to see some serious provenance before I bought this one.

Remember the movie with Jimmy Stewart? I think it was him anyway.

Right, they tested 1000 rifles and the most accurate ones were given the "1 or 1000" mark.

Collector's Firearms wanting an insane amount for a gun?  Gee, that's never happened before.

Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...
