Does anyone have any knowledge of the Wilson line of AR15 type rifles ? Any are they worth the money, as compared to say...bushmaster? Big "E"

Oh, and is it interchangeable, or standard, as the bushmaster for example ? E

I don't know anything about Wilson AR's, but it would take a lot to make it better than a bushmaster. I personally wouldn't spend the extra, but I have never handled a Wilson. My personal choice is ArmaLite. Welcome to the board.

Like the rest of Bill Wilson's stuff, they are WAY overpriced. Not a bit better than a Bushmaster, in fact some say the quality is not equal to Bushy. You could build an identical rifle for way less than Wilson wants for his. My advice-stay away, go Bushmaster, Armalite, or Rock River Arms. Forget current Colt offerings, too.

I have put a couple rounds through one. It is a very nice weapon but not worth the extra money over a Bushy. The guy at the range who let me shoot it did not have any problems with it and it shoots well, but again not worth the extra money.

Thanks Guys I have just purchased the AR10 flattop stainless 20" for myself (.308) I'm getting a .223 for the wife, and from what you are all saying its either the Bushmaster, or the Armalite......I guess either is just as good. The retail price for the M15A4 .223 carbine is 900, my dealer says he can order it for me for 10% off, $810.00..... Guess thats what I am going to get. Later "E"
