Ass and Obama dick.

They have a picture of ZERO up ( no surprise).
Their chicken sucks. Wife makes much,much better.
Super greasy beyond what you would expect.
Terrible service. Check wrong. Order messed up.
Not fixed.

Pretty much a democrat FSA type place.

The catfish was good.

Meh. Their catfish ain't that good. They have been trading on their name for a while now. You really want some good catfish in NOLA? Go to Cooter Brown's at S. Carrollton and Leake, their grill has some of the best in town. (Most everyone else in town seems to think that shaving it thinner than potato chips and using nothing but cornmeal, for that totally cornmeal and oil flavor, is the way to go.)

Oh, and the picture of TOTUS is because he eats there whenever he is in town. Apparently his taste in food is roughly equivalent to his economic and Constitutional knowledge.

Deanie's isn't bad---Cooter Brown's isn't really a dinner place though. It's a bar, with an attached but seperate kitchen that sells food to go, which is often eaten in the bar. I'd suggest it more for lunch, unless styrofoam plates and plastic forks in a bar is your thing for dinner. It shouldn't be too smokey on a Wednesday, but the college kids are back, so it might have a crowd of 'em in there.
