If by "Thawed out venison", you mean a live adult great white shark, then yes, it will kill you if you try to eat it.

Dive in. You're going to die sooner or later anyway, might as well be a steak that takes you out. There are worse ways to go. Veggie burgers for example.

No, the frozen stuff makes a better blunt force weapon.  The thawed stuff doesn't hurt too badly.

I remember reading somewhere about sailors in the 1800's eating maggoty mutton after just boiling it for hours.  I guess if you cook it long enough all the bad stuff dies.

had some marinated back-strap, wrapped in bacon, cooked on the pit just the other day and it darn sure didn't do me no harm....................
