Just flipping channels, and found an early '80's Queen concert on the Logo channel.  I feel a little wrong for even recommending it.  Sure Freddie was... well... "unique", but Queen had a whole lot of energy.

Queen totally rocked in the early '80s.  Enjoying their live act is nothing to be ashamed of.

I've never heard of Logo.  Is that actually a gay channel?

I don't see anything wrong with that as long as it irons your shirts for you and cleans up around the house.

DirecTV channel 263.  www.logoonline.com  Looks pretty darn gay to me, but if they keep pulling old Queen concerts out of their safe, I won't be able to complain.

EDIT:

I'm afraid I'll wake up one night and it will have turned itself to the 24 hour showtunes channel.

I really dislike most showtunes.

I don't know what to say to that.

I always thought  Queen rocked when I listened to them in the mid/late 70's.

Then I caught their live show sometime around 78/79 and I was disapointed .

The problem was that at the time, Queen was known as the band that spent the most time in a studio for a recording session.

Over production and anal attention to detail is fine (sort of), for a recording, but when a band is unable to come even close to reproducing the same sound in a live enviorment... well it kind of ruins the experiance and/or expectations.

I was in Barnes and Noble yesterday....

I saw a book.....

"Queer stories for boys"

I'd say "fuck faggots" but they would look at me and ask "is that a bad thing?"
