I am interested in the PSG-1 and I believe that the assault weapons ban kept it out of the US; does anyone know if a new one is available now

I don't believe so. I think that was covered under the import ban.
However, U.S. made PSG-1s in the new H&K plant might be available for sale... H&K will probably keep the original pricetag just for the hell of it. |

therticaly its possible to get one now.
Since they still sell em to LEO. Just have to swap out enough parts to make it a non imported rifle but then that would defeat the purpose of owning one since it wouldnt be a 100% H&K psg1. |
