Some groups are hard to find during sampling. Over representing the input of groups you know are underrepresented is a technique to account for this flaw in data collection.

Something about over sampling, of course, let's say they actually aren't going off voter rolls from the past and selecting Ds/Rs. They still might be calling dem heavy areas etc. Given that there was only a 4.5% difference in Ds and Rs in 2012 final voting, yet they have 33% more dems in these polls, there is something up no matter what. Polls are shit either way. |
