Hey, when can we meet? I also want to get your Atlas folks to
recommend oversamples for our polling before we start in February. By
market, regions, etc. I want to get this all compiled into one set of
recommendations so we can maximize what we get out of our media
polling.

How does rigging the polls to show HRC in the lead help HRC? Won't that dis-encourage dems to go out and vote if they already have it in the bag? Or do her staffers do it just to make her happy for now?

If the ballot box isn't rigged Trump wins in a landslide.

Some groups are hard to find during sampling. Over representing the input of groups you know are underrepresented is a technique to account for this flaw in data collection.

Romney in a landslide.

What it does, is they look at web sites like this one, see how many defeatist pussies we have here complaining about how the election is over.

They use a formula based on the amount of posts, that are posted from the circular firing squad Mormons, butt hurt Cruz supporters, etc.

Than, they start doing their Jedi Mind tricks on the weak kneed nay sayers here crying about Trump being vulgar.

That is how they over sample. Bonus points if they are from Canada.

They want to show Hitlary as being just barely ahead to keep them riled up the whole time.

Barely ahead means they'll vote. Well ahead and they won't.  Well behind and they won't either.

The lie only works if she's barely ahead, which is why you see her being reported as barely ahead.

No and no.  It's all about covering up the fraud.

You know, the dead voting...illegals....the bussing of fraudulent voters...

voting machines changing votes.....etc etc

The whole thing with the media polls showing her in front is so

when the election comes around they can easily dispell

any claims of election fraud by claiming the polls have

always showed that the race was hers and it only makes

sense that the outcome was in her favor.

It is dishonest and shows collusion with the media.  It is also effective in swaying low information voters who see these polls on tv and believe them to be an honest indicator of how the public views the candidates.

More to the point, which is more effective for winning a Presidential campaign: spending a shit-ton of money on polls which are intentionally wrong in hopes that they'll get published and demoralize the opposition, at great risk to the polling companies who, if the scheme is found out, will immediately be put out of business because no one would hire them or trust their data? Or getting accurate polling results that will allow the campaign to target its funds on advertising, GOTV efforts, phone calls, emphasizing or de-emphasizing issues, etc., etc.?

The "rigged polls" thing is just idiotic garbage.

I think he's saying that the polls are correct and if you don't believe them it's because you're not as smart as him and don't know what you're talking about.

go watch an hours worth of vids on youtube and you'll learn 87% of what stats is about.

Something about over sampling, of course, let's say they actually aren't going off voter rolls from the past and selecting Ds/Rs. They still might be calling dem heavy areas etc.

Given that there was only a 4.5% difference in Ds and Rs in 2012 final voting, yet they have 33% more dems in these polls, there is something up no matter what.

Polls are shit either way.
