She decided she wanted to go with us on our yearly deer hunt up in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma. I seriously have to drive an hour to get cellphone reception from this place. It's awesome.

So after several 6 hour trips throughout the year to find a place for her stand, setting up her stand, setting up a feeder and keeping it running, cutting down about 30 small trees and a bunch of other work I got it all setup so that all she had to do was show up and shoot a deer and on the second morning she got it.

She had a good time and I may have created a monster.

It's a little thing called working on your stand and clearing shooting lanes - if the brush and trees are thick around your stand,
it sometimes takes a little time and effort to get your stand ready. It's worth every minute of work spent to have your stand or blind set up
properly when that trophy buck shows up!

Deer hunting must be way different in your part of the country.
It is, imagine that.

In some areas they use feeders, some areas you still hunt and stalk, some areas you sit in a stand or tree hoping a deer walks by,  and some areas you run dogs.

It's all hunting, maybe not how you do it, but it is still hunting.
