It gave me an excuse to play with my normally ignored photo gear.  I love taking candid photos.

Someone was not impressed...

I have a friend who has a working cattle ranch about 56,000 acres (neighbor is T. Boone Pickens) that did an annual fish fry.

A few would arrive on horseback one would arrive flying his own helicopter.

I did the photos for a number of years... it was fun.  I am no pro but they turned out to his satisfaction.

130+ people showed up.  It was pretty amazing.  My wife was so stressed about the whole thing but it went off without a hitch.

Oldest person there was Cliff.  Cliff is 101 years old and sharp as a tack.  Elmer pictured above is 93.

Good ol' Elmer didn't wear a name tag so people would know who he was.  It was so he would remember who he was
