Consider this...

Man's woodland camo jacket, large size, price is $29.99:

Women's woodland camo string bikini top, price is $57.99:

Now, clearly one could make a dozen or so bikini tops from the cloth in the jacket.  What gives?  BTW, these pics and prices are from www.afmo.com

I'm not going to tell you how I really feel about that, but yes it's a bit absurd.

Because customers will pay an inflated price for women's clothing.

The fashion industry knows if they make a product that appeals to the women they will buy the product if it is $10.00 OR $100.00.
Women have a weakness when it comes to saving money while shopping or buying clothes.

Because women control the sex and men will pay for sex one way or the other. Women can spend anything they want for clothes because they were born with a ATM between their legs.

Its not their money 90% of the time they spend some stupid amount on shoes, ect.

Because women buy 2x as much. After marriage, and NOTHING they own fits anymore, they have to buy larger stuff...

Simple supply and demand.
