Run a speedtest. I bet your connection is fine.
Crap on your computer could be slowing you down. That is why everyone is saying porn. And they're right. |

Check Task Manager and see if you have any processes that are consuming large amounts of RAM or CPU resources. You may have a bug that is chewing up your resources.

DNS is screwing up for me - both at the office and at home.
It sometimes takes 3 or 4 tries to get a page to load without a 'Server not found' error. |

I just remoted into a pc at a friend's house with Google fiber. I have a 3 ms ping but only about 50 Mb down and up for some reason.
