I haven't yet, but I'm hopeing that once I have gainfull employment again, I will be able to make it to one of the Hun shoots up by Dallas, or at a range in Houston sometime.

Helldog40 just contacted me a few weeks ago and as soon as I get a chance(money is real tight right now) I really want to meet some people at Calverton or at the Huntington range. I think it would be great to meet some new people who have some of the same interests as I do.

I have gone shooting with Tony of Tromix fame and sometimes drink beer and link up belted ammo with him at his shop. I belong to Red Castle Gun Club outside of Tulsa so I probably have, just don't know of anyone else off of the top of my head.

I use to live in SoCal and have shot with these guys [url]www.webshooters.org[/url] Who are also members of this board. I now live in TX and have met/shot with a ton of folks from this board. I have not shot with these folks, but I have met AAA in VA. Winston Wolf from AZ. EdSr, JLA, and Goatboy from NY. 1Gunrunner, Fijfi and JAFO for WA. If I had to estimate how many folks I have become acquinted with, face to face, from this board. I would say it is close to 200 folks. So if you guys are skidish about getting together for one reason or another, I can tell ya. These folks don't bite. If you guys ever visit a town, post it. Meet and have a beer with a member. |

Hell yes Aimless, as a matter of fact I've shot with you! Also held you captive in the parking lot of the Camden Inn. Hope your Double w/Cheese didn't get tooooooo cold.
Beyond shooting with other members (shoot with DsrtEgl50 and Juggernaut on a regular basis) I also employ one (juggernaut). I've met tons of other members. Bought gear off of more and good old Tom Jefferson even came by Coal Creek Armory one day just to shake my hand. Oh, and Xanadu bought me lunch at Shoney's once. Nice guy, that Xanadu. |

All right, first off I'm shy, I don't know them, I'm broke etc are not good reasons to be home fiddling with the computer instead of shooting with us. In addition to the guys from NY, I drove (that was a little dumb in retrospect) to Tennessee to go shooting with a bunch of the guys down there. I had not met ANY of them and I don't think I had even had much e-mail contact with them before hand.
They were the nicest, most pleasant bunch of guys that I have met. When we went out to eat Friday night I was treated as if we did that every friday together. Honestly I think more time was spend BSing than shooting by a lot of people. I don't think I actually saw Green_Furniture fire a shot, though he had really cool guns. He and Juggernaut were a riot, I'm going to have to make a trip out to their shop next time I'm in TN. I'm pissed that I missed out on two shoots this year already (the polar bear shoot due to weather and the NJ shoot because a tree crushed my car-pretty damn good excuse). If there is any chance you can get to Bulletfest you would be crazy not to go. If you are not meeting people and going shooting with them you are missing the most important part of this place |

Been shooting, traded guns with, gone fishing with, (boat's repaired guys, we need to go again) hunted turkey's with, and generally hung out with. I won't mention names, but Renee and Alexis at Penthouse Men's club wants to see us again. Great guys all.

I shoot alot in the summer. I dont go out of my way to meet people from this board to go shooting but I open the door. Maybe some of us think were all one of "those gun nuts". Needless to say Ive never met a fellow arfcommer.
