Just wonder here, I own one.
I know some people cant get them due to local laws/CLEO signoff. Here I can basicly get whatever is legal and I can afford. |
whaddya own, if ya don't mind my asking. |
I plan to make an SBR and buy a 9mm supressor in a few years. Need to buy a house and a gun safe first.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
it would be nice to get a M16 but its not worth $12,000 to me
I got a Action Arms/ IMI import Uzi. Gorup Ind conversion.
I paid decent for it, but its worth it to me. Im much poorer then you think I am too |
I have a couple and I am working on another two (In the not so distant future).. Money shouldn't be a factor when you can get an AOW for a $5 tax stamp provided you can legally own one...
I nearly had one too, damn someone marked a post samplegun as a transferable for under $8K. I was there with cash in hand for that too |
The reason the .gov implemented the damn plan was to make it too expensive to own one. Well, it's worked on me thus far.
Too much money.
Not enough places to shoot it around my area. The local CLEO would laugh in my face. It would be fun novelty at first, but then I would grow tired of it. (Similar to being a boat owner.) |
have you ever shot full auto? |
Tired of it, hardly. Nothing like haveing an ammo bill of $2-3 a month just to feed the little fella.
Roger that!!! I have shot F/A for many years and love the HELL out of it. |
same with me, and I still get that tingling feeling everytime I shoot my buddies M16 |
I just couldnt see how someone would get tired of it, I mean its sort of like sex |
I want to get a suppressor for my new USP Tactical in the near future. Money is holding me back at the moment.
MGs are probably out of my $$$ reach for years to come...
However, I AM going to get a nice can for my AR15 carbine. |
Both 1&2
Even if I had the money, local laws prevent me from owning one. I have an out on that though, so really its just a money issue. |
I dont get sex but alteast I can shoot Full Auto stuff |
I'm 19. In 2 years I'll start building my collection of SBRs and silencers, but until then, standard toys will have to do.
For trade: 1 redhead, good cook, great sex, bitchy attitude. Asking: 1 NFA weapon. PM me. |
Condiion, year of manfatcure, and rounds down the pipe? Any accessories? |
Sex is only semi-auto anyway... At my age, it's not even single shot though...more like de-milled! |
Condition: Good Year: 1979 Barrel wear: Good for another 10,000 rounds before the throat burns out Access: None built in, does take detachable toys. |
Sorry have to have pictures |
I think we'll need pics before we can make a final determination.... |
I have an SBR in the safe and a can on order. Can't hardly wait for the can.....

That's about what I pay per day! Averaged out throughout the year, of course. $2-$3 a month. That's about 2 or three boxes of .22 Long Rifle. |
UZIs have 22LR kits |
I live in Northern VA, and it's basically impossible to get up here. You have to be brothers with a sheriff or something, from what I hear.
The parts (RDIAS & RLL) don't in themselves cost much to manufacture and are not that complex to make myself, so I have to say it is the federal and state laws alone that prevent me.
Uh, PM sent. |
You ruined it, I was trying for a group buy |
LMAO for me it's cash, and also our shitty ass sherrif in Gwinnett county. He's one of those types that won't sign the form four untill you prove to him a need for one.
I cant afford to buy one right now, and even if I had one in a cheap to shoot caliber, I would be hard pressed to feed it.
Right now, 1k of 9mm lasts me a little while, with a bullet hose, I'd go through that in a day... easy. ETA: getting a sign off on the forms would be cake here |
Didn't vote because my option isn't there: basically too lazy to jump through the hoops right now and too lazy to research exactly what I need to do. I've heard different things from different people so I'm too lazy to research the facts. Someday I will...
OK Im looking hard at those 249 Uppers and RPD uppers for a MAC.
The place that sells them is about 10 miles away. |
Come shoot my Uzi with the .22 kit. You'd be hard pressed to spend $10 (a box of Winchester Dynapoints). Or we can put in my SubCal practice ammo barrel. The special ammo for this is $30 per case of 864 rounds (plus shipping) - that's more than 34 mags worth of blasting fun! Who says full auto has to be expensive? |
Timeshare? |
Money.
And local laws. And don't want stuff What I can afford and want (suppressors) MO won't allow me to have. The other stuff I can afford (AOW / SBR) does not hold my interest. What I really want, I can't afford (MGs) |
I think money is the biggest barrier (isn't it always). Although the hassle of transfers is a real headache too.
