I mean really.  I don't read  blogs online.   Seems like a huge waste of time.  I really couldn't give a damn about what some self important burnout thinks about anything.

Get a diary and keep it to yourself.  No one cares...

I refuse to get a blog on principal alone.  I don't want to be assosciated with the people out there who can't even be bothered to type out their thoughts in a coherent manner.

Uh, a lot of blogs are not personal "thoughts" anymore. They are valid a sourced news outlets. Like LGF, and Michelle Malkin.

The blogs out there that are actually helpful are few and far between.

No, a lot of blogs are NOT valid sourced news outlets.  The vast majority of blogs are written by average or below average shmoh's who think they are the next Hemingway.

You have to consider the source each time.  Even the most accepted "news outlets" are often full of crap.

When you get a Myspace, it comes with a blog.  I sometimes write a blog, but doing one on a regular basis is rather boring.  My life really isn't that eventful.

OMG, you're post on AR15.com is so similar to a "Blog" it's not even funny.

Using your same logic, why should we care what you think about blogs?  Why post it on ar15.com instead of writing it in a diary and keeping it to yourself.

Mine is a cancer journal. I get a lot of positive feedback from people who read it. I'm told that some people feel that it has helped them, which was my intention in starting it. That wouldn't happen with a diary.

Sorry you don't like it.

Why do you post your opinions on Arfcom for 100,000+ people to read?

Go take a look at hers.......  Might make more sense.

People deal with difficult things, in different ways. Sometimes they need to talk about it.

If you can help another person with information/experience you have, I say God bless.

English is a proper noun and is always capitalized.

Instead of blogging why don't you learn how to program.  Build a basic sit with HTML and use a free hosting service to host it.  Then you will have a website.  Not a blog like everyone else.  Bare Bones guide to HTML is the way to start.  just google it and you will find it.

I wrote some of the first blogging software shortly out of high school. Everyone called me crazy and asked why I would want people to see stuff like that online. Once they became mainstream I stopped doing it and didn't produce any software to do so.

I didn't call it a blog. I just called it an online journal.

It was a respectable burn.  You'd better make sure every post you do from now on is perfectly spelled, punctuated and grammatically correct.

I will be watching.

As I said, she has something to say.  She could write a book and it would be good.  What is the excuse of 99.9999999% of bloggers?

Why do so many people think their lives are so interesting that they must share with the world?  Egocentric?  Self-centered?  Did they get a mega dose of undeserved self-esteem in school?
