Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Why did I get a new password?

I received an email from "[email protected]" with a new temp password, one that I did not request.  I have not activated the new password.  Any idea why?

Also, the ip address given was directed to weaponsforum.com, an offshoot of arfcom.
