I can understand a tear every now and then but dear god the man cannot seem to make it 5 minutes without full on bawling like a 5-year-old that has skinned their knee
Anyone who saw the previews for 60 Minutes tonight saw him opening the waterworks |

I mean full-on sobbing and sniffling. I don't care that he cries, but he just looks like a 5 year old whose daddy took his favorite toy away for no damn reason. |

It's fucking retarded.
Imagine if Obama kept doing this. We would call him unstable. |

must be because we are both mainers that we feel that way.

He has been laying down the smack down though, so his antics are excused in my mind to some degree.
At least he lost a few shades of Orange though, whew! He looked like a Parking Cone after a monsoon for a while there. |

The guy grew up poor with ten brothers and sisters. He met his wife while working as a janitor on the night shift, a job he took to pay his way through college. Some people are more emotional about things in their lives. Some people have been protected all their lives and only know life from the couch. These couch people have a tendency to be jaded and can't understand someone with true passion, mostly because they have none.
My father had true passion. He grew up during the depression with five brothers and put himself through KU. He was a C-46 pilot in the CBI and flew 82 round trips over the Himalayas. I saw him get emotional on more than a few occasions, but I understood. |

Biehner is no fried to conservatives either He's a big fat RINO.

There's something wrong with him.
There has to be someone better than this boner to have picked for our speaker of the house. His sob sister routine is going to get old fast, and become quite an embarrassment. He gives off the vibe of someone with a dark, dark vice eating away at him. The Boehner gay underage sex slave scandal might be what takes us out in 2012. Can't trust someone who behaves like he does, you just can't. We need a strong, clean optimist. On a side note, part of the harm glen beck does is turning otherwise right acting Americans into hysterical, jello jawed sob sisters. Maybe the calculation was that boehner will appeal to that segment. |

Well, my grandfather grew up during the Depression on a farm, in a house where all extended family lived (due to losing their homes). Joined up during WWII, put himself through school, raised a family. My father grew up with nothing. They made their toys from pallet scraps and newspaper. Neither of them cried half as much as Boner. The man isn't passionate, he's a fucking drama queen. He needs to suck it up and put on his big boy pants or get out of the way. |

All good flim-flam men (and women) know the value of a few public tears. Like all career politicians, I don't trust a single thing he says or does. This is precisely why we need to limit the power of government.

I only saw him cry one time when his wife (my grandmother) died. What's your point? |

I wonder if he is healthy?
If a man has trouble with emotional outbursts it could be an underlying medical condition. |

Because he sees the "American Dream" eroding at the hands of Illegals and their Diversity lovin Socialist Scumbag Democrat friends and he knows all the little White Kids will suffer reverse discrimination & be second class citizens in their own country when they grow up .

When a post says that the poster has looked at a picture, and it gets "dusty in here," is that person immediately scorned by the couch-borne hive for outwardly and openly exhibiting emotion? My point is this reoccurring topic is actually - pointless. No more, no less. |

The fake tan makes me think he's not a man, though he's still better than a Democrat.

It's absurd.
It is a clear attempt to try and latch onto the only part of the Glen Beck schtick that he can perform. The argument that is an upwelling of emotion because of his climb from obscurity to the top is just silly. There is no shortage of people who have reached great heights from the lowest of lows who can manage a 15 minute conversation with out crying.

He is an embarassment. He should not be leader of the Republican House caucus.

Emotions are for homosexuals and women. Not politics. We need clever and ruthless leaders.

You are cordially invited to perform a physically improbable and rationally unlikely act upon yourself. As this would bring great pleasure and undoubted personal satisfaction, it can in no wise be considered or construed as a personal attack. |

Quoted: Quoted: starting to agree I want a mean old man in his position Dittos You don't want a mean old man in his position. That's political suicide for the party. Newt Gingrich and Nancy Pelosi comes to mind. Both got demonized, got their party demonized, and one lost congress. |

This should be a man's attitude: 'Few things will disturb him at all; nothing will disturb him much.'

What is the criteria to make SOTH? Seniority?
Even before the cry me thinks there could be a better Speaker. IMO Boehner is a bad marketing choice... |

More like, he sees a way to buy a few votes by putting on a show.... There's no such thing as a professional politican who gives a shit about the "American Dream" for anyone but himself. Still, he beats the shit out of a democrat, particularly the dried up gasbag he's replacing as Speaker. |
